EA: Cam Weber has been appointed president and chief studios officer, and David Tinson promoted to president and chief operating officer, as EA completes its $55bn take-private acquisition by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s PIF. Both were existing EA executives before the promotions.
Nazara Technologies: Nitish Mittersain has stepped down as chief executive, transitioning to managing director. Raymond A. Stauffer has been named the new CEO. Mittersain returned for a second stint as CEO in 2022, following Manish Agarwal‘s tenure, and oversaw a period in which revenue grew from $115m to $192m, and the company completed its $303m acquisition of Bluetile and BestPlay.
Unity: Michael Lieb has been appointed principal accounting officer, effective July 27, having already served as the company’s chief accounting officer. He previously served as vice president, corporate controller at Peloton Interactive, and held prior finance roles at Shutterstock and Spotify, alongside over 14 years at Ernst & Young.
Epic Games: Martin Keely has joined as VP/general manager of the Epic Games Store and Epic Online Services. He joins after more than seven years at Blizzard Entertainment, most recently across Battle.net and platform and technology services.
Xsolla: Jon Middleton has joined as executive vice president of strategic business. He’ll be focused on forging new partnerships and growing the company’s footprint across the games industry.
Kabam: Alexander Jancso has joined to work with indie studios on bringing new games to market. He previously spent time at Activision, and before that worked in indie development after building his early career in mobile gaming.
Scopely: Alon Fall has joined as a game economist. Fernando Nascimento has also joined as senior producer on an unannounced cross-platform strategy/MMO project.
Tactile Games: Simru Goven has joined as product manager, working on one of the studio’s new titles. Maja Kolarz has also joined as people partner.
Moon Active: Yarden Calamaro has joined as a product game designer.
