Sonic Rumble (Sega)
After it leaked back in March, the Japanese publishing giant has officially announced its new Fall Guys-inspired title featuring the blue blur and friends. The game will be available this winter for both iOS and Android; Sega is currently accepting beta testers.
Nextworld (Netflix)
Netflix’s efforts to reach game audiences expanded outside of its own app this week with the reveal of Nextworld, a home for all of its IP within Roblox.
It is live now in Roblox in ‘early access’. Netflix describes it as a “digital theme park full of characters, easter eggs, and games”, which also includes standalone Roblox games Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High, One Piece: East Blue Brawls and Rebel Moon: Outskirts Battles.
Netflix’s May line-up
The streaming giant has announced its line-up of new titles for May. Sonic Mania Plus is already out on Netflix Games, while cult platformer Braid Anniversary Edition is set to arrive on May 14. Cozy puzzle adventure Paper Trail launches a week later on May 21.
On May 29, a romance game based on the smash hit TV series Virgin River is making its debut, while retro platformer Katana Zero rounds off the streamer’s line-up for May.
Solo Leveling: Arise (Netmarble)
This Netmarble action-RPG has just launched worldwide on iOS and Android, and is topping charts in several major markets at the time of writing.
Apple Arcade’s June line-up
The iPhone giant has confirmed that it’ll be adding one new original title to Arcade in June, Rabbids: Legends of the Multiverse. Ubisoft’s team battler will be coming to the subscription service on June 6, alongside a trio of reworked App Store games: Return to Monkey Island, Tomb of the Mask, and Fabulous – Wedding Disaster. Where Cards Fall, already part of Apple Arcade, is also coming to Apple Vision Pro on May 30.
Cheech & Chong’s Kush Kingdom (Eastside Games)
The cannabis-imbibing comedy duo star in this new match 3 game, which is out now for iOS and Android.
Figgie (Jane Street)

The FT reports that global trading firm Jane Street has released an iOS and Android version of the card trading game it initially designed back in 2013 to teach trading basics. It’s available now worldwide.
Dawn of Ages (BoomBit Games)
This new medieval strategy title from developer Stratosphere Games is out now on iOS and Android, following over 100,000 pre-registrations.
