EA mobile revenue down 5% YoY

Electronic Arts reported record net bookings of just over $8bn for the financial year ended March 31 2026.
The 9% YoY rise in net bookings was down to the successful launch of Battlefield 6, plus growth for EA FC and Apex Legends. Net revenue for the full FY26 was $7.5bn, up 1% year over year.
Net revenue for Q426 was $1.895bn, up 12% YoY. Earnings from mobile were down YoY by 5%, dropping from $287m a year ago to $272m for the three months ended March 31 2026.
With that $55bn acquisition incoming, EA did not hold a conference call and noted that it would not be providing financial data once the transaction is closed.
Roblox shares dive 18% after it cuts bookings forecast

Roblox shares fell to their lowest level in 18 months after the company cut its annual bookings forecast as part of its Q1 earnings last week, Reuters reports.
With new child safety features set to negatively impact short-term growth, Roblox lowered its full-year bookings forecast from between $8.28bn and 8.55bn to between $7.33bn and $7.6bn.
That saw its shares plummet 18% last Friday, wiping approximately $7bn from its market valuation of $39.55bn. The stock has dropped about 32% this year after seeing a 40% rise last year.
Roblox said Q1 revenue grew 39% YoY to $1.4bn, while bookings were up 43% to $1.7bn. Average daily active users increased 35% YoY to 132m, while hours engaged jumped 43% to 31bn.
The company posted a net loss of $248m in Q1, compared to a loss of $216m a year earlier, but adjusted EBITDA rose 71% YoY to $99m.
Stillfront Q1 revenue down 13.6% to $144m

Swedish roll-up firm Stillfront saw Q1 2026 revenue fall 13.6% YoY to SEK 1.33bn (~$144.1m). Adjusted EBITDA also declined 20% YoY to SEK 425m (~$46.1m), but the company reported a net result of SEK 117m (~$12.68m), which was up from SEK 23m (~$2.5m) a year earlier.
Q1 user acquisition costs totalled SEK 447m (~$48.45m), or 34% of net revenue. UAC related to Big Farm Homestead was equivalent to 6% of group revenue. The simulation and farming management game was released globally on December 1, 2025, and Stillfront said it’s the company’s most successful launch to date.
Stillfront’s portfolio includes seven key franchises: Big, Empire, Supremacy, Albion, Board, Jawaker and Bitlife. Its games attracted almost 36m monthly active users in Q1 2026, which was down from 38.45m MAU reported for 2025.
MTG reports record Q1 as EBITDA hits $64m

Swedish roll-up group MTG saw net sales for Q1 rise 24% YoY to SEK 3.12bn (~$338.2m). Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was up 30% YoY to a record SEK 802m (~$86.9m), while net income more than doubled YoY to hit SEK 138m (~$14.96m).
Among its operational highlights for Q1, MTG said its DTC revenues increased from 24% of total revenues a year earlier to 39%. Its Indian subsidiary PlaySimple also filed for an IPO worth up to $335m, and it said its ‘Midcore District’ transformation is on track for annualised cost savings of $20m by the end of this year.
For 2026, MTG is forecasting pro forma revenue growth between 5-8%, and a group adjusted EBITDA margin ranging from 22-24%.
Krafton posts record quarterly sales of $931m

PUBG maker Krafton has reported record high quarterly sales of ₩1.37tn (~$931m) for Q1. That’s up 49.1% QoQ and 56.9% YoY. Mobile accounted for over half of the South Korean publisher’s revenue in Q1, bringing in ₩702.7bn (~$477.1m), which was up 140.5% QoQ and 32% YoY.
PUBG IP franchise revenue topped ₩1tn (~$678.9m) for the first time in a quarter, with mobile revenue from the franchise up 30% YoY. Krafton also posted record high quarterly operating profit of ₩561.6bn (~$381.3m), which was up 22.8% YoY, while net profit jumped 38.4% YoY to ₩514.1bn (~$349m).
Mindtail Games gets $2m

Istanbul-based startup Mindtail Games has raised $2m in a pre-seed round led by APY Ventures, with Inveo Ventures and Ak Asset Management also participating.
Mindtail is making titles “at the intersection of high-craft games and AI-driven velocity”, the company says.
Mistplay acquires fellow rewarded advertising platform MyChips

Play-to-earn firm Mistplay has acquired rewarded ads platform MyChips from adtech firm MAF. MyChips will now be integrated into Mistplay’s LoyaltyPlay network. Mistplay did not provide a value for the transaction when asked.
Mobile games revenue in March dipped 1% YoY

Mobile games revenue totalled $4.7bn in March, according to Sensor Tower data published by The Games Business. That was up 2% on February’s total, but down 1% YoY.
Last War Survival topped the monthly revenue chart again, bringing in $128.3m, while Honor of Kings held second place with $116.3m.
Whiteout Survival ($110.7m), Royal Match ($102.1m) and Gossip Harbor: Merge and Story ($101.6) rounded off the top five.
Mobile games downloads reached 3.8bn in March, which was up 19% over February, but down 14% YoY.
Block Blast retained the top spot on the monthly chart with 35.3m downloads, while Garena Free Fire moved up one place to second with 25.2m.
Roblox dropped to third with 21.8m downloads, ahead of Subway Surfers (15.5m) and Pizza Ready (14.6m).
