Zynga bumps Star Wars: Hunters back to 2023

Zynga’s forthcoming Star Wars: Hunters is now slated for 2023. It’s the second delay for the arena shooter, which was announced back in February 2021.

Confirming the news on Twitter, Zynga said that it needs more time to meet high expectations. It will continue to be updated in soft launch, with the next update coming in the next few weeks, following updates in February, May and June this year.

According to Sensor Tower the game is in soft launch in Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines and Taiwan.

It is in development at NaturalMotion, and was initially slated for release in 2021. It’s an arena shooter/battler featuring a new cast of original Star Wars characters who fight it out in different multiplayer game modes.
