Sensor Tower has kindly agreed to send us exclusive download and revenue charts for the US, China, Japan and the UK every week. Here’s the data for August 29-September 4.
Let’s start with US downloads.
Survivor.io and Stumble Guys hold firm in first and second in the combined iOS and Google Play chart this week. Surprise new entry X-Hero (Bingchuan Network) is in at three, a bizarre mix of casual physics puzzles and sci-fi RPG battling.
The US revenue charts are once more topped by Candy Crush Saga and Roblox, with Coin Master rising two spots this week to third. Scientific Games’ Jackpot Party is the only new entry in all three charts, debuting at five on iOS.
In China, Miniclip’s Subway Surfers is once again top of the downloads chart and as ever, Honor of Kings is top earner. The only new entry of note is Shengzhe Games’ Super World, which looks suspiciously similar to X-Hero, the new entry in the US download chart.
In Japan’s combined iOS and Android download chart Bandai Namco’s One Piece Bounty Rush holds on at number one, and Fishdom jumps up to third from seventh last week. UK outfit Tripledot is getting traction in Japan with Woodoku in ninth spot, and Sega’s Hatsune Mike Colorful Stage is new at ten.
Japan’s revenue chart shows Uma Musume Pretty Derby at the top once more, with LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum (Naver), Tower of Fantasy (Perfect World) and Girls Chronicle: Idle Heroine (C4) all returning to the top ten earners to freshen things up.
Stumble Guys leads the way in the combined iOS and Android UK download chart, with four new hypercasual games breaking into the top ten: Gun Head Run (Monday Off), 2248 (Inspired Square) and Homa Games duo Zombie Defense and Steering Wheel Evolution.
The combined UK revenue charts show Roblox top once more. The usual suspects fill out the rest of the chart, but notably Homescapes and Bingo Blitz return to the top ten.
